Our Cattle
We source all of our Cattle from trusted cow-calf operations right here in Butler County, Ohio. Once they arrive at our farm, we finsish them out on grain that we raise and harvest ourselves, ensuring high quality, great tasting beef.
Our beef is always hormone free, steroid free, and antibiotic free, so you can feel confident about what you're feeding your family.
Local Butchers We Partner With
We're proud to work with skilled, local butcher shops so you can enjoy fresh, custom - processed beef close to home:
Prices - AS OF September 1, 2025
We charge $3.95/lb hanging for quarters, $3.80/lb hanging for halves and $3.70/lb for wholes hanging - plus butcher fee. Most of the beef will hang for around 800-1000 lbs for the whole. Occasionally we will have bigger or smaller ones. We are estimating how much these weigh. We will NOT know an exact weight/price until the beef are at the butcher shop and hanging. Once you choose your cuts you will usually end up with around 60% of the hanging weight if you get everything.
We require a $100/quarter - non refundable deposit to hold your portion. This deposit WILL go towards your total beef price. Once we have your total you have the option of paying your remaining balance with cash, check, Venmo (Shauna-Koch) or PayPal (KochFarms@aol.com). YOUR BEEF MUST BE PAID FOR IN ORDER TO PICK IT UP!!!!
Depending on the butcher shop your beef is going to, some will get your cuts before the beef goes in and other places will call once it is there. We will let you know which you have to do. The beef will usually be ready to pick up in 10-14 days after drop off. You will pick the beef up at the butcher shop, and pay your butcher fee at that time. This again will go off the hanging weight and the cuts you choose. ALL BUTCHER SHOPS CHARGE DIFFERENTLY.
